On Saturday, February 9, 2020, Kalani High School dedicated their new Project Lemon Tree pergola and planted six lemon trees. This project was spearheaded by Uncle Ken Kajihara and the Kalani FFA Maker Club. Now, in the good hands of Uncle Brandon Saigusa, the pergola will flourish with student installations of drip irrigation and school theme painting. Also on hand was Principal Mitchell Otani, who personally brought the program to campus through alumnus and Bizgenics Foundation Board Member Amber Letham.
